Understanding Expansion Brainspotting, Coaching and Consultation
Coaching is a process of helping individuals or teams to achieve their goals by providing guidance, support, and feedback. For example, a coach may help a client to identify their values and priorities, set goals, and develop a plan to achieve them. Benefits of coaching include increased self-awareness, improved performance, and greater satisfaction with life.
Expansion Brainspotting uses the Brainspotting frame to support expansion of creativity, performance, spirituality, increase post-traumatic and personal growth and expression. It can have the benefit of increased self-awareness, better performance and greater creativity, increased resilience and inner strength, a deeper appreciation for relationships and a stronger sense of connection with self and others, a deeper sense of purpose and even growth in spiritual practices.

Please note that an Expansion Brainspotting session is not a substitute for mental health treatment. Its purpose is to help you expand your creativity, performance, and personal goals. If Michelle determines that your needs require on-going, supportive therapy, she will refer you to an appropriate therapist or practitioner.
Consultation with Michelle involves providing expert advice or recommendations to individuals or organizations. Michelle may help to identify areas for growth and improvement, strategies to increase profitability, teach new tools and implement and support changes. The benefits of consultation include access to specialized knowledge and expertise, improved decision-making, and increased efficiency.

Brainspotting consultations provide comprehensive guidance, education, and teaching to support your practice of Brainspotting. A consultation session may include: case conceptualization, education about Brainspotting set-ups, practice sessions, learning and development, and work towards certification if that is your goal.
